One of our larger clients began to rapidly grow and wanted to centralize various computer operations, while being able to maintain them in-house. We added a new server (Server 1) that is responsible for the company’s email, data and remote access. The existing server (Server 2) was reconfigured as a SharePoint server that is utilized to host and maintain a website that is used by both employees and customers. Lastly, we implemented an accounting server (Server 3) that not only relieved the previous server of a major load, but also streamlined the entire department. After the various server implementations, the organization was able to practically eliminate costs that were paid to third party vendors and increase overall productivity. Most importantly, the company was able to obtain peace of mind because all their sensitive data and formulas are located in-house rather than on servers elsewhere that they were not able to monitor or maintain without added costs.
